Movie nights back to the Eigenaardig

Movie nights on sundays are back to the Eigenaardig Buurtcafe, with the best movies from worldwide. So the first one to be shown after the holydays break is:

WOUNDS (1999) - Set in Serbia between the years 1991-1996 during a period of moral and material disaster, a tale which follows the exploits of Pinki and Kraut, two teenagers growing up during the Balkan war. In 1991, as Serbian nationalism grows around them, they are more interested in directing their energies to small time crime and sex--the world of the underground. Directed by Srdan Dragojevic.

Starts at 20:30.

On the 1st of February, also at 20:30, there will be a kungfu movie. Even people who don´t normally like kungfu or martial arts films will love this one!

HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS (2004) - In the Nineth Century, the Tang Dinasty in China is weak and corrupt, and an army of rebels called "The House of the Flying Daggers"fights against the government military forces, and steals from the rich to give to the poor people. Leo (Andy Lau) and Jin (Takeshi Kaneshiro), two captains of the government army, plot a scheme against the rebels using the blind dancer Mei (Zhang Ziyi) to approach their leaders, but their love for Mei leads them to a tragedy.
